Yarn Along

This week I'm joining Ginny for a fabulous yarn along. I have been knitting The Boy Hat Pattern & I am hoping to add a few bright girly touches to it... I also have my next pattern lined up. It's called Unmentionables and it is available through Knitty. I think unmentionables are the sweetest looking bloomers ever.

I just started reading The Day the Falls Stood Still and I am having a hard time putting it down. I'm off now to enjoy a cup of tea & bit of reading. Happy knitting & crocheting!

This is my first yarn along week and I love how many new books I'm being introduced to! The yarn you're working with is just beautiful, what is it?
Thanks, Barb

Luckypennymake,
Welcome to the yarn alongs, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Thank you for your kind words about the yarn. It is a worsted weight MCN yarn that I dyed in my Coal Train colourway.

And the yarn goes so well with the book cover, too! :)

I so love your yarn, as you probably already know :). And thank you for sharing your next pattern--LOVE that skirt, especially since that is all I wear in the summers!!

Had to pop out and pop back in so that I could see the 'unmentionables'. I think they are great and now I want to knit a pair too. I need to learn to knit faster!

I love the yarn you're working with. I just read an earlier comment and see it's one of yours. It's beautiful! I love that bloomer pattern. I haven't made them, but they look so comfy!

I love the unmentionables pattern! I'm adding it to my queue in the hope that one of these days I'll have something for myself on my needles. :-)

Genevieve,
I'm so impressed with your yarns, your colorways are just amazing. I've added your shop to my favorites for when my current yarn stash has dwindled enough that I can add to it!
